WELCOME

BACK

JERRY!

We are excited to announce that our previous Executive Director, Jerry Speck has returned to work part-time as Administrative Assistant. Jerry holds a MBA Degree from SOSU. He is a graduate of Seven Habits for Highly Effective People, a fellow of Oklahoma Public Health Leadership and a winner of the prestigious Governor’s Arts Award and Blue Cross and Blue Shield Champions of Health Award.

Mr. Speck left the chamber in 2004, to pursue a career with the Oklahoma State Department of Health as a Health Consultant working in 15 counties across southeast Oklahoma. He retired from the State in 2018 and now with ‘extra time on his hands’, he is returning to his passion of seeing Idabel prosper.

Quoting Speck, he said smiling: “It is good to be back where God kissed the earth and made the trees grow tall, the grass green and the water blue”.

Please find time to stop by the chamber and welcome him back as he pursues his dedication to the Idabel community!

The City of Idabel already has a lot to offer it's citizens and visitors from the incredible work of current and previous leaders. Market disruptions like the recent tourist explosion and advancements in technology have local business owners asking all sorts of questions. What does your business struggle with?
We as a collective group of businesses believe that all ships rise with the tide. So join us in creating an impact on the city that we all know and love!

 WHAT DOES PROGRESS

   MEAN TO YOU?

The Idabel Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture wants to hear from you! What areas of the community to you want to see improved? What types of business do you think the city needs?
